As a vendor how do you get the attention of busy executives? How do you explain in a few minutes how your company can build-out hundreds if not thousands of stores, all at the same time highlight all of your services as well as showing how you can save revenue and make their job easier?

Project Highlights

  • Video encoding using H.264 video, allowing mobile devices such as the iPhone and iPad to display the video. Older browser that don’t support the format display the video in Flash.
  • Case studies are integrated with ExpressionEngine, a powerful and flexible content management tool allowing Load King to add store development images and content.

Revolutionizing the Whole Process

Load King, based in Jacksonville, Florida, has revolutionized the whole process of building stores for brand owners and store operators. With 40 years of experience, nearly 5,000 store openings to their credit, and clients such as Starbucks, Target, Borders, Safeway, Red Mango and Edwin Watts Golf, you can see why they are considered a leader in their industry.

Needing a way to simplify how they present to others what they do, how they do it, and how they can help, Load King approached Gist Create to add a video to their website.

Due to the unique style of the video developed by Epipheo Studios, we recommended creating a separate microsite that would emphasis the video while reinforcing the video’s message. The results: http://storesmadeeasy.com.

Designing the Microsite

Desiring to enhance the video’s concept while still providing consistency, design elements were extended from the video to various sections of the site. The casual, hand-drawn graphics helped anchor the video as well as reinforce the videos playful yet professional message.

Playing off of Load King’s message of reducing most of their clients days to open by 30% without a hitch or delay (or finger pointed), each navigation element was built to quickly scroll to the appropriate section without the user waiting for the page to refresh.

In addition to highlighting some key points from the video we also built a case study section so real examples of success stories could be provided. Load King can now add images and copy showing actual days to open, cost savings, as well as a client testimonial. Images and copy are inputed by Load King using ExpressionEngine, a web-based content management system.

Last but not least, a contact form was added to capture inquires.

We believe the site’s unique approach fits right in to Load King’s creative services for building stores for brand owners and store operators that need their brand replicated across the country.
