After working on a web design project for the Jacksonville Super Bowl XXXIX Host Committee, Florida's First Coast of Golf engaged Gist Create to redesign their existing website to showcase Jacksonville golf courses and lodging facilities.
About FFCG
Known as Northeast Florida’s trusted source for golf vacation packages, golf course information and accommodations, Florida’s First Coast of Golf helps promote golf courses and lodging facilities to tourists visiting Jacksonville and the surround area.
What We Did
Requirement development, research and competitive audit, information architecture, user interface design, CSS/XHTML template development, database development, custom content management system, email campaign design and management, banner ad development, search engine marketing and web hosting.
Project Highlights
- Once website redesign was completed traffic to the site increased significantly
- Non-technical staff can now easily update the website and create branded email campaigns
- New business model was incorporated in website giving FFCG members more traffic to their online properties
- Tracking tools implemented to automatically track outgoing links to various member facilities
